LEONARD NEWS
Miss Edla Isaackson who has spent the summer at Nymore arrived here Saturday and will make her home with Mr. and Mrs. August Stenlund. She attends school at Clearbrook.
Visitors at the Levi Lenuson home Thursday were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bailey of Pinewood and Mrs. Henry Langseth and Mrs. Laurence Nelson.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Wendtland returned last Wednesday from the Cities where they attended the state fair, and also visited at Alexandria.
Mr. and Mrs. C. J. A. Erickson and daughter Penelope Lou were Bagley business callers Saturday afternoon.
Billie Payne returned Monday from St. Paul where he attended the Diamond Jubilee and also took part in the spelling contest.
Mr. and Mrs. Eric Lenuson and children were Bemidji business callers Saturday.
Melvin Stolquist of Clearbrook was a caller in Leonard Sunday.
Mrs. Even Ekre of Shevlin was a caller at Leonard Saturday.
Miss Anne Rhen of Clearbrook spent the week end here at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Fred Rhen.
Miss Myrtle Larson of Shevlin visited here Sunday evening with her sister Miss Alena Larson.
F. H. Lundmark made a trip to Shevlin Sunday and was accompanied back by Mrs. Lundmark and children who spent the week end with Mrs. Even Ekre.
Miss Edna Knutson and Klarice Klevin who are staying in Clearbrook while attending school there spent the week end here at their parental homes.
The Misses Myrtle Hagen and Emily Mae Payne spent Sunday night at the home of the former's aunt Mrs. Peter Hunstad of Holst.
Miss Mildred Lundmark left last week for Minneapolis where she is employed at the Logan home.
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ehlers and Julius Larson were callers at the Lawrence Johnson home in Clover Sunday evening. Mr. Larson remained there to do some carpenter work.
Harold and Ernest Erickson of Holst were callers in Leonard Friday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. P. F. McHarg and daughter of Round Lake visited with friends here Sunday.
