Urologist Opens Office In St. Thomas

Dr. V. McKinley Wiles, a specialist in Urology from New York City has opened a practice in St. Thomas, V.I. He will share offices with Dr. John Moorhead. His office hours are: 12 noon to 3 p.m. daily from Monday to Friday and by appointment. Dr. Wiles practice will be limited to his specialty: investigation, treatment and surgery of the urinary tract.

Dr. Wiles, who is West Indian by birth, attended elementary school in Cambridge, Mass, where he also received a diploma from the Cambridge High and Latin School. He is a graduate of Emmanuel College, Berrien Springs, Michigan and received the degree of M.D. from the College of Medical Evangelists in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Wiles has done considerable post graduate medical study and research.

For the past fourteen years, before making his decision to come to the Virgin Islands, Dr. Wiles practiced in New York City where he was chief of Urology services at Mt. Morris Park Hospital and associate Urologist at Harlem and Sydenham Hospitals. He is licensed to practice in California, New York, and the Virgin Islands.
