Vienna, July 5. O. S. The Report we had four Days ago, as the Post went off, of a compleat Victory gain'd by the Imperial Army in Hungary, over the Grand Signior's, had no other Foundation than the Arrival of an Express, with the Particulars of the Action on the 23d ult. near Cornia. The Major-General Count de Konigsegg, preceded by a Post master and 2 Post-boys blowing their Horns, arrived 2 Days ago at the Palace of Favorita, with the agreeable News that the Imperialists had made themselves Masters of the important Post of Meadia; and that the Turks afterwards rais'd the Siege of Orsova.

The Garrison of Meadia consisted of five Regiments of Janissaries, amounting to 2000 Men, besides a Regiment serving the Train of Artillery, which was commanded by Ibraham, Aga of the Janissaries; and 80 Pieces of Cannon were found in the Place, besides Provisions.

Next Sunday Te Deum will be sung in the Metropolitan Church of this City, to give Thanks to God for the Advantage which the Imperial Arms have obtain'd over the Infidels in Hungary. The Col. Picolomini, who so gallantly defended Meadia, when the Turks attack'd it some Time ago, is again appointed Commandant of that Place.
