At the inquest Tuesday held into the death of Lynwood Jennings of the Fairburn area whose bullet-riddled body was found in an 18-ft. well Friday a coroner's jury brought the verdict of death at the hand of Homer Almon, who had been held in custody at Fulton County jail since Friday night.

The body was found by Officer Hardy, of Fairburn and a searching party who reported Jennings as missing earlier. There was no sign of a fight at the well except blood which was found on the curbing of the well.

Homer Almon, an acquaintance of Jennings, previous to Tuesday, told police that Jennings had been to his house Monday afternoon asking that he accompany him on a hunting trip. According to Almon, Jennings promised to return for him at 8:30 that night: he failed to return. Jennings' car was found close to the scene of the well the keys to which were found in the dead man's pocket.
