AT BROOKLYN
Atty. Thomas J. Dodd, Jr., of Lebanon, who served as assistant prosecutor at the Nuremberg trials, will be among the guest speakers at the annual get-to-gether Sunday at the Brooklyn fair-grounds under auspices of the Windham County Democratic Association. The announcement was made last night after a final meeting held in Brooklyn under direction of Atty. T. Emmett Clarie of Danielson, president.
The pow-wow opens at noon when chowder will be served. Other features will include a band concert, entertainment, a harness racing exhibition in charge of Edmund Keane of Putnam and a baseball game between players from the 28th and 29th districts.
In addition to Dodd, other prominent figures will attend the affair, open to party members and their friends. Speakers are John M. Bailey, democratic state chairman; Alfred Wechsler, senate minority leader; Chester Bowles, former OPA administrator and Mrs. Chase Going Woodhouse, former congresswoman in this district.
Mrs. Dorothy J. Bartlett, long active in the affairs of the party, is a member of the promotion committee for the event.
