BOSTON, September 5.

Last Wednesday his Excellency the Governor was pleas'd to prorogue the Great and General Court or Assembly of this Province to Wednesday the 31st of September Instant, having first sign'd his Assent to the following engross'd Bills, viz.

An Act for granting the Sum of £1300l. for the Support of His Majesty's Governor.

An Act providing Remedy for Bankrupts and their Creditors.

An Act in Addition to an Act entitled "An Act in Addition to the Act for providing of Pounds, &c."

An Act in further Addition to the Act for Limitation of Actions, and for avoiding Suits at Law, where the Matter is of long standing.

An Act to prevent Neat Cattle, Horses and Sheep running at large and feeding on the Beaches between Wells and Ogunquit Harbour in the Town of Wells, and prevent the Mowing of the same.
