Hears Sermon on
"Unpardonable Sin"
An unusually large congregation for Monday night attended the evangelistic services at the Presbyterian church, the large auditorium being well filled. The sermon was most forceful and the audience were almost breathless in their attention.
This evening, Rev. D. Luther Edwards will preach his last sermon for a time, as Dr. Garvin will arrive tomorrow and take charge of the meetings. Rev. Edwards' sermon this evening will be "The Footsteps of Faith." Mrs. Kiefer and Mrs. Welles will sing another duet, and Mr. Kiefer will sing, "Some Day 'Twill All Be Over."
The chorus choir is a powerful force in these meetings. Mr. Kiefer, who has had many opportunities to travel with prominent evangelists, is getting a hearty response from the congregation, with the result that makes the hymn singing deeply impressive. There will be a large number of persons taken into the fellowship of the church this week.
