Recruiting.—The work of recruiting for the sixth regiment infantry has gone on quite briskly the past week. Mr. E. White's company is now full, or nearly full. The cavalry company has not had quite so good luck, owing to the heavy work put in for the infantry, though there are some over thirty now enlisted. There are still wanted twenty more athletic men to make up the quota for this county—Lamoille furnishing the rest. The following is a list of the names of those who have enlisted in this part of the county; there are others not yet reported :—
