HE IS WELL KNOWN HERE.
R. F. Kilpatrick, who until the abolishment of the office was assistant superintendent of motive power and car departments of the Denver & Rio Grande, has been appointed master mechanic of the Western Pacific, with his headquarters at Stockton, Cal.
The appointment has just been announced by General Manager C. H. Schlacks of the Western Pacific, who is first vice president of the Denver Rio Grande.
The above announcement is made in yesterday's Salt Lake Herald-Republican and is of much local interest, as Mr. Kilpatrick is well known in Grand Junction railway circles.
