Struck by a Train.
Theodore Steele, a young man nineteen years of age, living at 2423 Sixteenth avenue south, was severely injured by a Minneapolis & St. Louis train about 5:30 o'clock last evening at the bridge on the East side at Tenth avenue south. Two men who were near carried the injured young man several blocks and then aid was summoned and he was taken to the city hospital. An examination by the physicians proved that his injuries consisted of two broken ribs, besides internal injuries. The extent of these cannot yet be told, and last night the patient was in considerable pain. The doctors are yet uncertain whether the injuries will prove fatal.
