"Clean Up Day" was observed at the White Hall school in District No. 27 last Thursday, according to Miss Grace Clifton, teacher, who stated that the pupils raked the yard and gave the house a spring cleaning. The floor has been oiled, desks are wiped off regularly, and the floor is swept every day.
Miss Clifton and the 22 pupils she has enrolled are working to secure a class "D" rating, which is the highest grade that can be made by a one teacher school. Primary equipment has been provided, arrangements are made to build toilets according to state plans, and the class "D" library will be secured at an early date.
The pupils are well supplied with books and other equipment. All of them have been successfully vaccinated.
