A Fishing Party Struck by Lightning—Two of Them Killed.

PROVIDENCE, May 25—This afternoon seven men were preparing to have a fish fry on the Island in Waterman Reservoir, Smithfield, when a shower came up and the lightning struck the party. Wm. Colgrin, of Scituate, and Daniel Knowlton, of Greenville, standing back to back under a tree, were killed. Eugene Knowlton, brother of Daniel, and Jeremiah Angel, his hired man, were injured, their boots being stripped from their feet and their limbs partially paralyzed. The other three were stunned but not seriously.
