In 1932, 141,280 people visited the park, as compared with 145,032 in 1933. This year, 233,157 people were registered at the five entrances. The number of cars entering the park this season totaled 66,507, which is the greatest in the history of the park. The next best year was 1929, with 63,132 cars. The largest day's entrance travel was July 22, 1934, when 3,774 cars were registered as compared with 3,708 on July 2, 1933. Motor vehicle record for a day, July 22, 1934, was 1,040, as compared to 1,023 on July 2, 1933. August travel this year reveals 83,898 visitors, with an average of 2,706 visitors per day. An average of 748 vehicles per day entered the park with a total of 23,186 motor vehicles for the month. Rail travel brought 5,212 visitors.
