Full Text

A London paper of July 30 contains a paragraph of a complexion not unlike the foregoing account. Mentioning the peace concluded between the Turks and Russians, on the Empress's own terms, notwithstanding all the bustle which Great-Britain has made, it says-

"Mr. Pitt in the mean time goes on with his armament; and the bounties to seamen, with (what state necessity alone can justify) Pressing, are to be continued." And adds, "What new object of hostility he has discovered, remains to be found out."

And a still later paper attributes the above mentioned peace to a confederacy of the European powers to effect a counter-revolution in France.
