Louis Morell writes from Oregon as follows:
We have moved to Brownsville and possibly will locate here. We like the country fine. It looks nice to see everything green and flowers in bloom. We live right across the street from Mr. Straub and they say they like the country fine. Work is slack now because it is the rainy season. It rains nearly all the time here during the winter, but people don't seem to mind it, they go everywhere just the same. One family here has a lot of apples and they told us if we sorted them over we could have all we wanted.
