Representative De la Matyr of Indiana, has just returned from Alabama, and has given his impressions to a reporter. The greenback Congressman is free to declare that the election was carried by the Democrats by means of a systematic scheme of fraudulent counting and voting. The laws are designed to make this scheme practicable. De la Matyr says that leading Democrats admitted to him that on a fair vote and honest count the Democratic majority is not over 15,000 in Alabama. Mr. De la Matyr thinks that it would be next to impossible to secure a fair election in November in any State of the South.
