June 3. The Snow Mary Ann, from London for Bermuda, worth 10,000 l. Sterling, was taken by a Martinico Privateer of 12 Guns, commanded by Capt. Larouguay, the 16th of May, in Lat. 24 North, Long. 56, 30. West from London, after a long Chase of 30 Hours, great Part of the Time within Pistol shot.

The Privateer had taken three Prizes before to the Northward of Bermuda, and was three Days before taken by the Snow in sight thereof.

It is said many Privateers are already sailed from Martinico, and many yet to sail from thence, to cruise in the Latitude of Bermuda; and on the coast of North America.
