STORE TAKES OVER A
SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS
Six years to the month, following his entrance in the men's haberdashery business here, Frank Canner sold his store on South Center street, retiring from business after having made a remarkable success. Mr. Canner first established himself here as a custom tailor, having come here from Cincinnati where he was in the employ of a large tailoring concern.
Succeeding at this he later acquired his location on South Center and branched out into the clothing and furnishings business, still, maintaining, however, his tailoring department.
His success here is like that of many others who started in with a limited capital and then expanded as his business grew. He kept abreast of the growth of the town by making many improvements to his business.
He has built and now owns a pretty home on South Spruce.
Mr. Canner says he has not made any definite plans for the future but will probably remain here.
T. W. Schutz, who purchased the store, comes to Casper from Greeley, Colo., where he was highly esteemed as a business man.
To My Friends and Patrons
Having sold my business here I wish to express my appreciation to my many friends and patrons for the liberal support given me in the past which contributed to my success and recommend to you my successor in business, Mr. T. W. Schutz.
All communications should be addressed to me either at my home or at the store, or phone 655R.
