BEAUTIFUL GUN—We were shown a double barrelled shot gun yesterday at Bigelow's which, for beauty of workmanship and perfectness of finish is hard to beat. It was made by Bigelow for John G. Briggs. The barrels are of the very best manufacture, the stock is made of second growth black walnut, and beautifully checked and polished. The locks are elegantly finished and fitted, and work to a charm. Briggs has the reputation of being a good shot, and will probably be around when the pigeon shooting takes place, next week, during the Northern District Fair.
