NORTH CAROLINA PHYSICIAN LEADS BUSY LIFE

Henderson, N. C., (Calvin Service)- One of the most prominent physicians in this State who has gained considerable recognition as the result of hard work in his chosen field is Dr. S. M. Beckford, a native of Jamaica, B. W. I. He has been practicing in this thriving North Carolina City for many years.

He is President of the Old North State Medical, Dental and Pharmaceutical Society. A graduate of Howard and Boston Universities, Dr. Beckford is also on the Staff of the Jubilee Hospital here and occasionally finds time to preach the gospel.
