SCHOOL MATTERS.—From Captain B. H. Meder, School Trustee, we have the following:

"At a meeting of the Board of School Directors, held June 29, the following bills were allowed: E. A. Moody, teacher, $140; Mary Torrey son, teacher, $100; Carrie Gregg, teacher, $75; W. R. Wright, janitor, $20. On motion, ordered that the public school in district No. 1, be closed from this date and remain closed till further orders, and that the teachers in said schools are hereby discharged from further service."
