Fireman Rush to Extinguish Blaze-In Heating Stove
HARTFORD CITY, IND.-A three-year-old girl here spoiled a hot game of checkers in which Hartford City firemen were participating.
The child tried to call a cleaning company but got the fire station instead. She asked that a driver be sent to her home.
"Do you have a fire?" the fireman asked. "Yes," was the reply.
Engines roared, tires screeched and sirens whined as fire trucks drew up to the house. The little girl then explained of course they had a fire-in the heating stove.
