REGISTRATION FOR PRIMARY CLOSES MONDAY
With two days yet to register, the total registration in Santa Cruz County for the September 11th primary is nearing that of two years ago.
There is a heavy registration this year, notwithstanding the loss in population in the county the past two years.
The total up to 5 o'clock last evening was 2,004. For the primary two years ago, 2,309 voters—1,887 Democrats and 394 Republicans—registered.
Registration will close at 5 o'clock Monday afternoon. All persons who have not registered should do so in order to take part in the coming primary.
