TAKING YANKOWSKY'S ROLL.

Ethel Banks, a negress, was put on trial before Judge Davis in the Court of Quarter Sessions today, charged with taking $105 from Walter Yankowsky on May 11. It is alleged by Yankowsky that on the night in question he was held up by the Banks woman and her friend, Ethel Wilkie. They asked him for money to buy food. He gave them each a quarter and told them to leave him. After they had gone he felt in his pocket and found his wallet was gone. He said he had saved the money to buy a saloon.
