BOSTON, Dec. 5.

On Monday Night last a Countryman coming to Town between 10 and 11 o'Clock, was stopped on Boston Neck, by three Ruffians, who beat and bruis'd him very much, and after robbing him of three Half-Guineas, let him go.

Several Shops in this Town have been robb'd the Week past in the Evening, of their Money Draws, Goods, &c. The Thieves had the boldness to go into the Shops blow out the Candles, then take what they intended, and go off with their Booty, before any of the Family, who were in the Room adjoining the Shops, could overtake them.
