First Rehearsal of 'Said Pasha' is Held at the Young Woman's Christian Association.
The preliminary rehearsal of "Said Pasha" the comic opera to be given by the Young Women's Christian Association, was held last night in recreation room of the Home and the principal singing parts were given out. Miss Marguerite Watson has been allotted the part of Serena, the Pasha's daughter. Miss Lottie McKee will be heard as Queen Ait. Mrs. H. R. Roberts has the great character part of Balah Sojak. Mrs. Roberts voice and dramatic talents are especially suited to this part and it is expected she will surprise her many admirers.
Mr. J. P. Williamson will be heard as Terano the Mexican nobleman; Dr. George D. Finley the comedy part first created by Edwin Stevens. Dr. Craig will be ably assisted in the fun-making by Vincent Miner, who plays Nockey. Mr. O. E. Wiessner will sing Hassen Bey. There are but few parts to fill and there will be selected at the next rehearsal.
