Mrs. Waller of Grove City arrived Saturday for a visit with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. N. V. Larson.

Rev. Emil Malmstrom visited in Willmar last Friday evening.

Dr. L. W. Anderson will leave on Tuesday of this week for a trip to Minneapolis.

Miss Henrietta Dirkswager of Maple Lake visited at the Arneson home last week. She is a former teacher in Atwater.

Herbert Behm will substitute as mail carrier on route 5 on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.

The Atwater band gave a concert at Lake Lillian last Friday evening. Quite a few from Atwater were in attendance.

Anton Hofstad, a member of the Atwater high school faculty, left the first part of last week for a visit at his home at Eagle Bend. Mr. Hofstad expects to attend the state university this summer.

Mr. and Mrs. John Brown and daughter Dorothy were Willmar visitors on Monday evening last week.

George Coons of Minneapolis visited with relatives here a few days last week.

The Theo. and Harris Peterson and George Roetzer families, Edwin Peterson, Ernest Peterson and Edmund Linehan spent Sunday at Diamond Lake.

Mr. and Mrs. Nels Blomberg and Mr. and Mrs. Otto Isaacson attended services at the Swedish Lutheran church at Tripolis on Sunday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. John Brown and family have been spending a few days at the Mrs. O. I. Moe home southeast of Atwater.

Mr. and Mrs. Theo. Peterson, Mrs. George Roetzer and Ed Linehan motored to Lake Lillian on Friday afternoon.

The George Jones family visited at the home of Mr. Jones' mother in Fahlun on Sunday.

Mrs. Levi Lund of Kandiyohi visited at the C. W. Johnson home here on Saturday afternoon.

Wenzel and Cecil Isaacson were Willmar visitors on Thursday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Carl Kjolsing and two children of Spicer came down on Wednesday for a visit at the John Lundblad home. Mr. Kjolsing returned home the same day while Mrs. Kjolsing and children remained for a longer visit.

Miss Myrtle Stenseth visited last week at the Arneson home. She has been teaching in the schools at Appleton the past term and was on her way home to Chicago to spend her summer vacation.

Mr. and Mrs. Nels Holmgren and Mrs. A. W. Johnson and son Gordon were visitors in Spicer on Sunday.

Arthur Davidson was a visitor in the cities over Sunday.

The Arthur and Bernard Holm families together with other relatives enjoyed a motor trip to Redwood Falls on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Johnson and daughter Evelyn accompanied by Miss Alice Larson motored to Litchfield on Sunday where they visited at the Walfred Lund home. Miss Larson left from there for Beckville where she will be employed for some time.

The Willing Workers of the Swedish Lutheran church were entertained at the B. A. Flygare home in Gennessee last Thursday evening.

Mrs. Edith Strong and Miss Winnifred Johnson left on Thursday for Minneapolis from where they left on Friday for Faribault where they visited with the former's daughter Lois.

There were a few from Atwater who attended the mission meeting at Svea last Thursday.

Rev. A. P. Sater from Lansing, Mich., visited at the Mrs. A. P. Sager home here Wednesday and Thursday last week. He also attended to business matters.

A large crowd attended the coffee social at the Chas. Johnson home on Friday afternoon.

Miss Mildred Anderson who is taking a course in nurses training at the Mounds Park Sanatorium is enjoying a three weeks vacation which time she is spending at her parental home.

The George Roetzer, Theo. Peterson and Harris Peterson families, Edwin Peterson and Edmond Linehan enjoyed an outing at Lake Koronis.
