Full Text

--The Town Council, at its last meeting, elected brother Theo. Dory Pohl as treasurer and tax collector of the city. This is a just compliment to a gentleman who filled the same position formerly with satisfaction to the community. The Council also elected Dr. S. R. Dunn city physician--an important office, and one which Dr. Dunn is eminently qualified to fill. As citizen and physician he has always manifested a deep interest in our sanitary condition; and now that he will have power to enforce his suggestions, we shall expect to see an improvement in the matters which affect the health of the city.
