He Escaped.

Pittsburg, Pa., April 12.—During the parade of the colored Knights Templar a white woman was jostled by the marchers. An unknown man expostulated with the colored men when a party of five young negroes standing near took up the quarrel. One of them, named Lightner, drew a revolver and fired three shots into the crowd. The streets were full of people and two shots took effect, one striking John O'Hara, killing him instantly, and the other seriously wounding Martin Fahr. In the excitement following Lightner escaped, but two of his friends have been arrested.
