JUDGE CAMPBELL OUT?

That Is the Rumor Being Circulated About Prescott

A Prescott dispatch says:—

Governor Kibbey returned to Phoenix this morning after being here yesterday in consultation with local republicans. In an interview he declared that under no conditions will he be a candidate for congress. He said republicans in the south are considering Lorenzo Hubbell of Apache county as an available candidate. With the coming of Kibbey to Prescott a rumor gained currency that Judge Campbell of Tucson has resigned and that Attorney General J.B.S. Clark is to be his successor. Hon. Leroy Anderson of Yavapai county, it is believed, would be willing to accept the republican nomination for congress.
