Poultry Show.--The National Poultry Show at Barnum's Museum, is larger and better than it was last year, yet it has not attracted so large a crowd. The Shanghais are very numerous, and some of them are of the best forms we have ever seen. It is remarkable how much this awkward breed has been improved. Still we cannot commend them, except as curiosities in a show. For that, we don't think the present has ever been equaled. But there is almost every other variety of fowls, forming, in the whole, a sight well worthy the attention of everybody, and the rest of mankind."--N. Y. Trib.
