Chicago CRC to present drama 'Trial by Fire'

Janice Kingslow, formerly in the cast of "Anna Lucasta," and Fred Pinkard, widely-known radio actor, will star in "Trial by Fire," anti-discrimination play, to be presented at the 8th Street Theatre Friday, Jan. 21.

Sponsored by the Civil Rights Congress, the play will feature actors from the Hull House Players, Sheil House, Columbia College, Friendship House and Chicago School of Expression.

The three-act play has been called by Langston Hughes, "one of the most effective, provocative, and moving plays on race relations that I have ever seen."
