By a Letter from Ulster County, dated the we learn that the Wednesday before, an Indian came to the farthermost House from Rochester, and seized a Woman that was washing at the Door, but she screamed out, when another Woman ran to her rescued her, beat off the Indian, and Shut the Door several other Indians came up, fired into the House killed two Women, but they were repulsed by twenty who fired out on them, and, as they imagined, killed one, Parcels of Blood being seen on the Ground after they retreated.--'Tis Matter of very great Concern, that notwithstanding the Number of Soldiers we now have in this Province, his Majesty's Subjects should be thus savagely butchered on the Frontiers, and no Provision made for their Protection.
