The honorable the Legislature of this state, having finished their session at Exeter, on Saturday last, adjourned to Tuesday the 26th day of May next, then to meet at Concord.--The following are the heads of the Acts, &c. passed previous to their adjournment : An act to establish a ferry between the towns of Litchfield and Merrimack, in the right of William Reed, his heirs and assigns. An act for the better observation of the Lord's day, and to repeal all laws heretofore made in this state for that purpose. An act to prevent the spreading of the small pox, and for allowing hospitals to be erected under certain restrictions. An act in addition to an act. entitled an act issuing an alias execution against Joseph Clark late of Antrim, in the county of Hillsborough,yeoman, and to enable Ephraim Barker, to make return thereon. in the room of one which was lost. An act to prevent the destruction of salmon and shad in Connecticut river.
