London, March 26. Upon Dr. Little's refusing the Bishoprick of Oxford, it is now generally agreed, that the Right Rev. Dr. Secker, Bishop of Bristol, will be translated to Oxford, and hold his Prebendary of Durham and Rectory of St. James's in Commendam; and that the Rev. Dr. Gooch, one of the Prebendaries of Canterbury, Canon Residentiary of Chichester, Master of Caius College, Cambridge, Archdeacon of Essex, Rector of St. Clement's, Eastcheap, and Brother-in-Law to the Bishop of Salisbury, will be made Bishop of Bristol, and hold his other Preferments in Commendam.
