SHOT HIMSELF WHILE HUNTING

Serious Accident Sends Son of Former County Teacher To Hospital.

Relatives in the county received word from M. A. Storer, of Muncie, Kans., saying his 19-year-old son, Ray, had accidentally shot himself while hunting on New Year's day.

The contents of the gun passed through the lower limb, lacerating the muscles between the knee and hip. He is in a Kansas City hospital.

Mahlon Storer will be remembered as one of Adams county's foremost teachers prior to 1904, when he removed with his family to Muncie, Kansas, where he still resides, having kept up his profession until the present time.
