WASHINGTON, MARCH 13.

A RESOLUTION has been introduced into the Senate, requesting the President of the United States to cause to be surveyed a Township of Land, of six miles square, to be called Derry E, within the limits of the public lands, and to grant the same to William Eaton, Presley N. O'Bannon, and George Washington Mann, and the three surviving marines, who served as volunteers in that expedition, as an evidence of the high sense entertained by the Senate, of their patriotism and intrepidity.
