Full Text

In Trouble Again.

The same gang of toughs who were arrested here three weeks ago for selling liquor to minors on a whisky scow, of whom two women were convicted of immoral conduct, have since been in the toils at Cathlamet. This time Flannegan and one of the women were the complainants, charging that the proprietor of the scow sold liquor without a license. The jury could not agree, as the question of jurisdiction was raised, the scow at the time being situated at the lower end of Wallace island, in the Columbia river. The question of jurisdiction will now be submitted to Judge Langhorne, of the Washington superior court.
