Full Text

There is advice from Berlin, of the 20th of last month, that his Prussian Majesty had not only confirmed Prince Ferdinand of Brunswick, in the dignity of Dean of the church of Magdeburg, but had likewise granted to that Prince, who was already Provost of St. Sebastian's, in the same city, the ensigns of a particular order, being a golden cross, enamelled white, and crowned; charged on one side with four sable crosiers, and on the other with a figure of the patron of the church. At each of the four extremities of the cross is his Majesty's cypher. This ensign is likewise to be worn by the Canons of the first rank; and the ribbon, by which it is suspended, which is grey, with a gold border, is to be put round the neck.
