Iron Ore Items.-Magnetic Iron Ore has been found on the farm of Mr. A. F. White, in Freedom township, and the deposit promises to be large and rich. The Wrightsville Iron Company has secured a car load, from the top, for trial. It is said that the ore on the Comfort farm, in Franklin township, is not surpassed in richness by any other in this country. In digging a well in Hilltown, same township, iron was reached. With more railroad facilities this would soon become one of the most important iron counties in the State. There are traces of ore over almost its entire surface, whilst in several sections developed veins are now worked profitably.
