SILESIA, August 22.

The 10th and 11th of this month will be remembered a long time in this neighbourhood, on account of the damage done by severe storms of thunder, lightning, and rain, that fell on those days, and left a district between Treptow and Stettin entirely under water; many lost their lives, and a vast number of barns, houses, &c. were washed away. The flax, which grows in large quantities near Luck, was entirely spoiled, as well as all the corn that was out. In short, the damage done by these storms is immense, besides the loss of several persons who have perished by these calamities.
