Baccalaureate
Dr. C. Eric Lincoln, Administrative Assistant to the President of Clark College and widely respected authority on the Muslim movement in America, will deliver the Baccalaureate Address to 215 candidates for graduation of Luther Judson Price High School. Baccalaureate Services will begin at 9 a.m. Sunday morning, May 20 in the school's gymnatorium.
Dr. Lincoln received his A.B. degree from LeMoyne College, his M.A. from the University of Chicago and Fisk University; his B.D. from the University of Chicago Divinity School and his Ph.D. in Social Ethics from Boston University Graduate School.
He is an ordained minister in The Methodist Church, was the Resident Chaplain, Boston University School of Theology, 1958-1960 and has been guest lecturer at Boston and Harvard Universities and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
He is the author of "The Black Muslims in America" which has stirred the country and has won for Dr. Lincoln recognition throughout the country.
