—Word has been received from Basin to the effect that a sheep wagon belonging to Mrs. Mary L. Moore had been blown up on Dutch creek, presumably by cattlemen who wished to retain the use of the ranges in that locality. Mrs. Moore is the mother of Lincoln J. Morrison, who was wounded by unknown assassins on Dry creek two or three months ago, while sitting on the tongue of a sheep wagon. Trouble on Dutch creek has, it is said, been threatened for some time past, and Sheriff Funston, with a posse, has gone to the scene of the disturbance.
