Sunday School was opened by the superintendent, Mrs. Bertha Adderley at 9:30 a.m. Morning service began at 11 a.m. with the pastor in charge. No. 2 choir was at their best and they sang as they never sang before. The pastor preached from Joshua 2:12. "Now, therefore, I pray you, swear unto me by the Lord." Subject "Showing Kindness to Kindness."
We had as guests officers and members of the Industrial Social Club, and at 4 p.m. the Social Saving Club had a tea at the Church Hall.
The 7 p.m. devotion was led by the pastor. He also gave another shining sermon. Mrs. Lucille Milton offered a stirring prayer and the pastor preached out of his soul from Isaiah 42:16 No 1 choir was in charge and sang very timely numbers.
