FOR COUNTY FAIR
Will Have a Fine Exhibit of
Their Own at Big Exhibition.
Canning and preserving is now the
Chief occupation of all the girls in
Marion county who are members of
Miss Cora Price's Clubs, and the members
of each club are working to make
their exhibit at the Fairmont Fair
the best of all. When not busy cooking
the delectable jellies and preserves
the girls are tending their gardens
so that their supply of things
to can and preserve will not fail.
Present indications are that the
exhibit of the girls will attract more
attention at the coming Fairmont Fair
than any other one department at
Exhibition Hall.
Since only girls between the ages
of 10 and 18 may enter this club and
run off the exhibits displayed will be
the work of the girls themselves, this
department will be doubly attractive.
Many young men of the county who
are yet unmarried will seize this op-
portunity to get a line on the girls
that can cook.
Many of the girls already have sent
in their entries and the remainder
are planning to send in theirs early
so that when the entries close on Sat-
urday, August 19, everything will have
been done to make each exhibit as
perfect as possible.
The awarding of the premiums and
the entire exhibit will be under the
direct charge of Miss Cora Price.

ent classes and the prizes for each
