A delightful event at Equity hall last Saturday evening was when the Mission Grange entertained a group of six foreign students from Montana State University, along with Professor Robert C. Line, foreign student advisor at the University.
The first order of events was a banquet which was sumptuous and beautifully appointed. Frank Krantz, master of the Grange, and Mrs. Krantz, lecturer, were in general charge. After the meal, Mrs. Krantz introduced Professor Line, who told not only of his delight on being in St. Ignatius for another such occasion, but also of his experiences abroad and of the foreign student program at American universities, how it is financed, etc. He then had the visiting students take part in a roundtable discussion, which was most informative and interesting. All present were given the opportunity to ask the students questions. In the end, they entertained with a short musical program which featured songs of their native countries. They all won a hearty and enthusiastic applause.
Students present were: Bergit Benterud, Norway; Iris DaCosta Gomez, Honduras; Martha La Guinge, Argentine; Eva Nissen, Sweden; Per Bjorne Reidersen, Norway and Marianne Tulinius, Denmark.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Grosscurth, who have a mutual friend in Chicago with Miss Nissen, had the young lady as their house guest over the weekend at their country home on Post Creek.
