Farmers' Pic-Nic.
We received the notice, last week, of
the Pic-Nic at Oliver Springs too late to
make reference to it editorially. This
we learn will be a gathering of Farmers
and Grangers from all parts of the coun-
ty--a happy re-union, after the work of
the season is laid by, of those that have
met before and acquaintance made by
those who have not heretofore had the
pleasure of meeting. That they will have
a good time, is very evident, as the La-
dies of various sections of the county
are taking the matter in hand, and when
they do--there is no such word with
them as fail. We have not learned the
order of arrangements, but enough is
known, that a good time will be had, and
we would advise all who can to pack
their baskets and put in an appearance at
Oliver Springs, on Saturday next, the
25th of July.
