Escape of Kissane.--We referred, a day or two since, to the escape of Kissane, the forger, at Hornellsville. The particulars are now before us. Kissane, who had been complaining of a diarrhoea on the route, was permitted to go into the water closet state room, when he raised the window and leaped therefrom, while the cars were running slow.

The escape was not discovered until two miles had passed, when the cars were stopped and moved back.

It was found that a man, bloody from a severe hurt, had been found on the track, who was well enough, however, to say he had fallen off the cars, and gone on to a freight train returning west. At Cuba, one of the stations, a man answering the description of Kissane, was seen on the stoppage of the train. No further trace of his whereabouts could be had. Mr. Reed offers $500 for his arrest. We notice that the New York papers blame the officer in charge.--Buff. Express.
