That's a front-page headline from a Washington newspaper.
The headline is based on a report by the F. B. I.
All Americans should be interested in this shocking announcement.
After all, Washington is the capital of our country. We all like to think of it as a beautiful city, decently governed.
Unfortunately, that is not an accurate picture. As LABOR has repeatedly stated. Washington is one of the worst-governed cities in America. The public utilities, the newspapers, wealthy property-owners, get what they want, so they support the present setup.
There is only one way out. President Truman should fire all top officials and give Washington a new deal, under competent, honest men.
