Our Prospects.

We have neither time nor inclination to dilate unnecessarily upon the favorable accounts which reach us from every county in the State as to the prospects of electing to Congress by a decided majority, the Whig candidates, Messrs. Cranston and Tillinghast. We can speak of our own town and its vicinity from personal knowledge, and we say with confidence, that we have never known a canvass in this county for Congress when more energy and unanimity were manifested, than are exerted in our favor at this moment. If our friends in other parts of the State come up to the work, with the resolute spirit which prevails here, we have no fears whatever as to the best result.
